Rutherford, NJ – Kathleen Duffy (center right), Rutherford Branch Manager, and Maryann Haberthur (center left), Regional Branch Administrator, are thanked by nearly 80 seniors for Kearny Federal Savings Bank’s generous donation to the 55 Kip Center’s 15th Annual Kip Fitness Day. The Bank’s sponsorship provided T-shirts and lunch for all participants.

The goal of the Kip Fitness Day is to organize an event that encourages the health and fitness of older adults in the community while promoting the programs offered at 55 Kip Center in Rutherford.  This event is in recognition of Older Americans Month and National Physical Fitness and Sports Month. Nearly 80 local seniors participated in this year’s event, which included a relay race, chicken toss, toilet paper toss, blongo ball and bean bag musical chairs.
