KFS Helps Kickoff 7th Annual Seniors on the Move Program - 4/20/2010
Wanaque, NJ - Approximately 50 local seniors participated in the 7th Annual Seniors on the Move kick-off held at the Bloomingdale Senior Center. Local seniors are encouraged to participate in this six-month long program, where seniors will meet each week for a one mile walk, followed by a breakfast, a blood pressure reading and a talk from a health professional. Kearny Federal Savings Bank is the sponsor of the program, pledging $2,000, which will be used for weekly breakfasts, T-shirts and pedometers for motivation.
